Merry Christmas from Holland

We traveled to Holland today, learning about how they celebrated on December 6th.
We learned:
-they have a feast after Christmas service with their families
-they decorate with pine cones and frosted bells
-Christmas is celebrated on December 6th
-Santa is called St. Nicholas (who brings gifts and puts them in their shoes)
-they sing Christmas carols

We created a "wish list" for St. Nicholas by putting gifts in our shoe to remember Holland:
