We are the dinosaurs, marching marching....

Our second to last theme this year is dinosaurs! This theme lends itself to do a lot of sorting, counting, and ordinal numbers. We will also learn many dinosaur names (hopefully I can say them all). 

 

Making Pizzas!

To end the pizza theme, what better way would be than to make our own pizzas!
The children go to use their adaptive skills, and spread on as much sauce as they wanted, added cheese (if they wanted) and select from many toppings; green pepper, onion, and pepperonis!

It was a tasty day in preschool!

Pizza for everyone

So many activities during the pizza theme. Pizza shop has been open for business. We have been creating many different kinds of paper pizzas in preparation for Thursday when we make pizzas we get to eat!

Pizza Please!

Our next theme is one of my favorite things about life; Pizza! We will spend two weeks in this theme, finishing up 2 more letters (getting ready for our Chicka, Chicka, Boom, Boom celebration), lots of journal writing, cutting and exploring with shapes, and continue to explore with numbers 0-20 (writing, adding, recognizing, and counting). We will of course end our pizza theme, by making and eating our own pizzas! We will read two of my favorite books, that are so much fun to act out (much like the mitten in our winter theme) Hi Pizza Man, and Pete's a Pizza.
