Painting

The room is slowly opening up. Responsive classroom approach is starting with the room "closed" so that the children can learn the rules, routines, and different ways to play in the centers.
The art easel is now open for business! On one side, the children can use chalk to work on drawing representational pictures like a person and a house. The other side is painting. There are many rules with painting. The biggest one is have fun and create beautiful works of art!
