Button Names

I read so many great books in the classroom. One great part of the preschool program is the way that we utilize the read aloud times. We read the same book all week which allows for the following:
-ability retell in a variety of ways (acting it out, using props, etc.)
-introduce new vocabulary words
-introduce parts of the story (characters, plot, author, illustrators)
-activities to spark thoughts about the book

One thing we did this week was created buttons names, that went along with Pete the Cat and his four groovy buttons!
