Watercolor names

There is so many ways to express your artistic ability in the Octopus Room! One of the ways that was just introduced is using water color paint. Many of children had already had experience with this type of painting which was great :)
The first order of business was to paint our names. So much of the start of school is centered around their names; recognizing it in print, matching faces to names, reading names around the room, recognizing what letter their name starts with, writing it, many art projects involving their names, as well as literacy charts and books!
