Step right up to the Octopus Circus!

We have changed themes, second to last of the year, to circus. When I asked the children what they thought of when they heard the word circus, they told me tricks! So....tricks it is :)
They can jump through flaming hoops, walk on high wires, balloon match, ball toss, ring toss, and dive into a pit of colorful balls! We are also starting to learn about the butterfly life cycle, so in Science we are going to watch our caterpillars go through their life cycle before we set them free in the butterfly garden!
We have also (on Monday) planted our flowers, and learning a song about what it takes to make a flower bloom and grow!

Chicka, chcka, boom, boom celebration (AM class)

We had our celebration of learning the letters before spring break; our Chicka, Chicka, Boom, Boom party!
We turned into coconut trees, got to take home our ABC scrap books and hand print book, made and ate a coconut tree, and even created a letter necklace!
It was a great celebration of how hard they have worked all year!

Preschool is such a yummy place! We have done so much with food. It makes math so much more enjoyable and meaningful when you get to eat the manipulatives! We worked on sorting by animal, graphing the animals, counting each set, and comparing which one has more and less!
