We officially switched themes for the first time this year. We started with a shared writing experience (that’s my goal for each theme change to continue to work on writing/invented spelling). We made a list of farm and fall animals/things. The children were involved in the change to help select materials they wanted for the room. This creates a sense of investment in the environment. We will be tasting apples, painting and carving pumpkins, and measuring how tall we are with leaves.
