Things are starting to grow in the Octopus Room

 We started out plant unit by planting Marigold flower/seeds. The children got to decorate their cups, plant the seed, and have been watering the cups in order to flowers grow. We made lima bean green houses to watch how roots will always grow down, and stems will always grow up!

We learned a song about planting seeds/flowers as well (tune of: head shoulders knees and toes):

and all it takes is sun and showers

and a seed grows into a flower!
