We travelled to China. We learned about Chinese New year.
-They celebrate the spring festival. This day changes every year because it follows the lunar calendar.
-Chinese new year starts a new animal zodiac year. 2020 is the year of the rat.
-The celebration lasts for 15 days till Lantern festival.
-Most decorations are in red
We celebrated by making a lantern, and coloring a picture of the Rat which is the animal of the year
