All about the Octopus train...

We have changed themes again! We are now on the move and talking about transportation. We will be learning about:
-color train (working on fine motor skills by cutting from new materials: magazines)
-6 nursery rhymes (row your boat, pat-a-cake, 1 2 buckle my shoe, itsy bitsy spider, humpty dumpty, and mary had a little lamb)
-3 more letters (H, T, K)
-traffic lights (sorry for all the back seat driving)
-spider non fiction study (we have learned 2 spider songs, an itsy bitsy spider game, and created webs already)
-sorting by size
-number guessing game (items hidden under number clouds to work on numeral recognition)
-Reading 2 stories by Mo Willems: Dont let the Pigeon drive the Bus, and Lets go for a Drive
-reading environmental print (for places to travel)
