Our second stop in our travels around the world was to Germany. We learned about:
1. Germans made the 1st Christmas tree.
2. Germans made the advent calendar.
3. Germans celebrate St. Nicholas. He puts gifts in the children shoes.
4. Germans sing Christmas carols.
To remember our time in Germany we made a Christmas tree, and sang Christmas carols.
Our first trip around the world was to Australia. Here is what we learned about Christmas:
1. Santa arrives on a surf board
2. Children leave Santa lemonade and cake.
3. Christmas happens in the summer.
4. Children hunt for golden beetles.
5. Santa leaves presents in a pillow case or at a table.
We made a surf board to remember our time in Australia.
We have changed themes again! This time we will explore all things with planets, camping, the stars and moon (sleeping outside fun), as well as bedtime and bath time routines!
