Pete the Cat: Groovy Button Math

We are working on addition and subtraction (and they dont even know it!) Today we had our very own Pete the Cat shirt, and we added and subtracted buttons by roll a die, and putting on that number of buttons! Math and literacy working together!

Classroom Rules

We have explored many rules in our classroom. Together we created the rules for our classroom. We talked about things to do and not to do with each of these three rules:
1. Take care of yourself
2. Take care of your friends
3. Take care of your environment

Each child signed the rules and we talked about this being a contract or promise to do these three rules all year long!

Journals

All year long we will be working in our journals. Learning how to write, follow directions, and draw representational pictures.
