Time to start opening the classroom up slowly. We take time to explore each center; dicussing how to play, things we see, how to clean up, and sharing! Today we explored blocks. It is amazing how many things we can build while exploring different shapes. We have a variety of types of blocks we use during the school year; starting off with foam blocks, wooden blocks, and blocks with a little pop of color.
Another center available all year is the easel. One side includes how to draw with chalk, and the other is paiting. Preschool is a messy place, but in that mess is learning and beauitful creations!

Learning all about the different path games that we can play in the Octopus Room. These will change with each theme however the main type of games that will be available include: short path (up to 10 spaces), long path (up to 20 spaces), grid (cover all or in a row), and matching and/or sorting.
