Our last stop of the week is in Mexico.
1. They celebrate Christmas for 9 days.
2. The three kings bring gifts in Mexico
3. They celebrate with pinatas
4. The poinsettia comes from Mexico.
5. Feliz Navidad means Merry Christmas.
We made poinsettias and sang and danced to Feliz Navidad to remember our time in Mexico.
We moved on to celebrate families in our PM classroom, and celebrated Hanukkah.
1. In Israel, they celebrate Hanukkah.
2. They light a Menorah for 8 nights.
3. They play dreidel games.
4. The children get gold coins called Gelt
5. The celebrate by eating potato latkes

Next stop is Germany. We learned about:
1. Germans made the 1st Christmas tree.
2. Germans made the advent calendar.
3. Germans celebate St. Nicholas. He puts gifts in the children shoes.
4. Germans sing Christmas carols.
We made our very own Christmas tree to remember our time in Germany.
