Last week we got to taste, vote, and journal about our favorite color apples. The children painted with apples to start the day. We ate red, green, and yellow apples describing the taste (sweet, sour, juicy, crunchy). To finish the activity we vote on our favorite color apple graph (Green for the AM, Red for the PM) and put that color in our journal. Preschool is so yummy!
We have been exploring community helpers and talking about firefighters. Today we made a fire truck that we could eat!
Our classroom change of the year; fall, farm, and fire safety. We will explore a variety of animals, fire safety, tasting apples, and carving pumpkins. This unit has so much to explore and comes with a variety of animal sounds :)
We finished our Chicka Chicka Boom Boom week with an ISPY letters. We did this activity with bottles, shaking and searching for letters until we found one on the coconut tree that matched. The PM class used the smart board, tapping a coconut to uncover a mystery letter then searching on the coconut tree for that same letter!
