We baked cookies for our first baking experience during our bakery theme. The children explored with the ingredients, helped put them in the bowl, stirred, and decorated their cookie. Of course they got to eat too!

We baked cookies for our first baking experience during our bakery theme. The children explored with the ingredients, helped put them in the bowl, stirred, and decorated their cookie. Of course they got to eat too!

Bakery

We have switched themes to one of the most delicious ones. We will be baking cookies, brownies, and pancakes together. Bakery creates lots of fun fine motor opportunities, and many new explorations with art like painting with chocolate syrup, and glue and shaving cream mix!

Winter Wonderland

The winter theme is in full swing in the classroom. We might now have snow outside but it is everything in the room. We will make snowflake, snowballs, snowmen, and even create snow to play with in the sensory table. This theme lends it self to a lot of cutting practice especially with those tricky circles.
