Travel down under....Australia

We went to Australia for our first trip around the world.  In Australia...
1. Santa arrives on a surf board
2. Children leave Santa lemonade and cake.
3. Christmas happens in the summer
4. Children hunt for golden beetles
5. Santa leaves presents under tables or in a pillow case

Prepping for take off...

We made our suit cases fancy, wrote out name on our passports, and had a cozy day in our PJ's eating popcorn and watching Olaf's frozen adventure.

Grocery Shopping

We have switched themes again! This time we are exploring with grocery store. This lends itself to so much writing (labels for the store, food for charts), sorting, and categories of food!

Whats the weather?

We have switched themes for the month of November. We are going to become meteorologists, and in Ohio we will get practice predicting all kinds of weather and seasons. We will explore weather in each form from creating tornados, learning how clouds work, and dressing for the weather.

Academic Choice fun

We have been learning games like hungry hippos, and dont break the ice during academic choice. Last week to celebrate Halloween we made a cotton ball ghost, cut seeds for our pumpkins, spider hats, and cut lines for our mummies.
