We are the dinosaurs

We have switched themes to dinosaurs. There is lots of roaring, digging for dinosaur bones, and hatching eggs happening in the Octopus Room.

Big red barn

We worked on building shapes to create a barn for the animals to live within. We worked on making triangles and squares with sticks.

Pumpkins, pumpkins! (AM)

We carved our pumpkins to end the theme of fall and farm. First the children had to help take out the seeds, and pulp (atleast one time). This was a very slimy job which some children liked, and others did not!
Then as a class we graphed what shape we wanted for the eyes, nose, and then a nice or spooky mouth.
