Beach Day (AM)

Fun in the sun, sprinklers, and sand! It was like being at the beach but at school. This is my favorite day of the year to just enjoy being outside, playing in water, building a sand castle, and making new friends in the fish class!

Spring and Summer theme

We are wrapping up the school year, and the last theme of the year is spring and summer time. This will include all things spring: flowers, bugs, rainbows, lemonade, picnics, and all things summers: pools, water, swimming, oceans, beach, and shells.

Chicka Chicka Boom Boom (AM)

Wow-these children are truly amazing with everything they have learned. We have learned all the letters, the sounds they make, words that start with that sound, how to write them, and find them all around the room. This has been a year long process and today we celebrated.
We made:
-letter alliteration necklaces
-coconut tree hats
-q tip writing
-hand print coconut trees
-pretzel and apple coconut trees
-watched "chicka chicka boom boom"
-got to take home our ABC scrap books
-read, and colored "Colorful Coconut Trees"

Such a busy, fun day to celebrate the letters :)
